FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When are your classes?
We do not offer ongoing classes. Instead, we focus on individual yoga tutoring and small group workshops. We do offer beginner yoga courses that will prepare to take classes or start your home practice.
I've never practiced yoga before, is a private session good for me?
Of Course! You do not need any experience to start a yoga practice with us. In fact, our sessions are tailored to the needs of beginners. We teach every session so that it is accessible to your level.
Wear loose fitting, comfortable pants that allow you to bend and move. You may want to wear a close-fitting shirt so that it does not move around when you are in inverted postures. Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat. If you do not have a mat, we have some to share.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Yes! We would love to help you create a special package just for your wedding, birthday, girls night out or family event. Just contact us, and we will put a package together to fit your needs.
DO YOU DO SPECIAL EVENTS?
Of course, you can come! We simply ask that you come with an open mind and heart. Be One Yoga and your yoga practice are waiting for you. We aim to create a space in our studio where you are safe and free to explore who you are and who you were created to be; a place for you to connect with your Creator. There are no expectations, no judgements, no rules, and no hidden agendas.
I'M NOT RELIGIOUS, CAN I STILL COME?
No. Yoga is not a religion. Yoga is a physical & spiritual practice. This practice strengthens our minds, bodies, & spirits by helping us keep our focus on what is important. At our studio, we blend the traditions of Hatha Yoga and Bhakti Yoga. Hatha yoga is the style of yoga that combines the physical postures with breath. Bhakti Yoga is the path of devotion to the Divine. Here at Be One Yoga, we focus our practice on wholeheartedly loving, believing, and submitting to the Eternal God.
